Two part educational course going over the basics of handling and examining exotic companion mammals.

PART 1 - Pet rabbits, guinea pigs and rat are prey species, and can experience significant stress and anxiety during the veterinary examination. Here are techniques to limit the need for actual restraint, and help keep anxiety to a minimum.

PART 2 - Exotic companion mammals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and rats often require hospitalization and various treatments. As prey species, these pets can experience significant stress and anxiety during a hospital stay. Here are tips to design a quiet, predator free hospital area, and minimize actual restraint to keep anxiety and stress to a minimum.
